Does GPS Nation charge a restocking fee for returned merchandise?
You will never be charged a restocking fee for any item that you return to GPS Nation. At GPS Nation, we believe that restocking fees are deceptive, unfair to customers, and bad business. We do not believe that our customers should be penalized 10-25% of the purchase price because they want to return an item. We consider returned merchandise the cost of doing business, a cost that we promise not to pass on to our customers!
The GPS Nation Guarantee sounds great, but do we receive something in writing outlining your commitment?
Yes! With every purchase, you will receive an individually numbered certificate. The certificate includes our contact information, our guarantee (45 Day Return Period, Free 1 Year Extended Warranty, Lifetime Support). The certificate also includes the make, model and serial number of the items you purchased. Finally, an authorized employee will sign the certificate to make it official. The certificate will then be shipped along with your items in the same parcel.

Does the GPS Nation retail store have demo units that I can test?
Yes! Unfortunately, we do not have a demo unit available for every single unit that we sell, but we do have a wide variety of units that you can test. If there is a specific unit you would like to test, please call ahead to make sure we have a demo unit available for you.
Is GPS Nation an authorized dealer/reseller of the products sold on the website and in-store?
Yes, we are an authorized dealer/reseller of every product we have listed on our website and in-store. Because of our direct relationships with manufacturers, we can offer competitive pricing with exceptional service and support.

Unless otherwise noted, all items for sale at gpsnation.com are brand new and factory sealed. At gpsnation.com, we have a section dedicated to Open Box and Refurbished units and accessories. We like to give our customers choices, so if you would like to purchase an item at a significant discount, check out the Open Box and Refurbished section of the website.

If I call to place my order, will a GPS Nation representative try to upsell me, or sell me accessories and warranties I don’t need?
NO! We’ve all been there before. You call a company to place an order and they rattle off 10 additional warranties and accessories that you don’t need. They pressure you into making a choice without thinking it through. We promise that you won’t ever get a ‘hard sell’ from our representatives at GPS Nation. If you would like our opinion, or would like to know what accessories will enrich your GPS experience, we would be happy to make suggestions, but we will never pressure you into making unnecessary purchases.
Will GPS Nation call me after placing my order?
The only time we will call you is to clarify any discrepancies with your order. For example, if your credit card billing address doesn’t match your shipping address, we may call you to confirm your order. This is for the protection of both you and our business. We want to ensure that someone did not use your information to make a fraudulent purchase.
When will my order ship?
Orders placed at gpsnation.com are shipped to you within 1-3 business days. We receive daily shipments directly from the various manufacturers, and because we stock the items we sell, most of the time your order will ship the same day it’s placed. If an item is on backorder, we will notify you right away with an ETA or an option to cancel your order and receive a full refund.
Does GPS Nation inflate shipping cost?
No! All orders over $20 ship free of charge. For expedited shipping, our website utilizes live shipping quotes from USPS, UPS, and FedEx. The price you see is the actual cost of postage to ship your order. We believe one of the keys to success is running a customer-centric business that is honest and transparent. We won’t charge you $20 to ship a $3 item.
What if my item doesn’t arrive on time, or the tracking information states that the package was delivered?
Occasionally, a carrier will scan a package as delivered before it arrives at the final destination. When this happens, the package is usually delivered within the next couple of hours or business days.
If you've waited a couple of days and you still don't have the package:
Determine if someone else accepted the delivery - Check with household members, neighbors, building managers, the mail room, front desk, and anyone else who may have accepted the delivery.
Look around the delivery location - Carriers sometimes leave packages in safe, hidden places such as a side porch, in/around your garage, or behind bushes.
Look for a notice of attempted delivery - You may find an attempted delivery notice in your mailbox or P.O. Box, or on your door. Follow the instructions on that notice to request re-delivery or pick up the package.
Contact the carrier - Ask if they have additional information about the package's location (have your tracking or delivery confirmation number handy). If your package was shipped via UPS, they may be able to hold the package at their local hub for you to pick up. You can call UPS to see if this is possible.
