Performance Insights
The AIRMAR B265LH combines two powerful CHIRP frequency ranges to maximize sonar effectiveness. The low-frequency channel penetrates deeper water, helping anglers maintain accurate bottom tracking and detect fish at substantial depths. The high-frequency channel provides enhanced resolution and detail, making it easier to distinguish fish from surrounding structure.
This combination allows users to monitor both the bottom and the water column with exceptional clarity. Whether targeting offshore game fish, locating bait schools, or identifying underwater structures, the B265LH delivers the detailed sonar information needed for confident navigation and successful fishing.
Its ability to maintain strong sonar performance at depths up to 3,000 feet makes it particularly valuable for serious offshore anglers and sport-fishing vessels.
Usage Instructions
Install the B265LH transducer according to the included AIRMAR and Garmin installation instructions. Proper hull placement is essential for achieving optimal sonar performance and accurate readings.
Connect the transducer to a compatible Garmin sonar system and configure sonar settings according to your fishing environment and target species. Regularly inspect the transducer and mounting hardware to ensure reliable operation.
Always follow installation guidelines carefully to prevent damage to the vessel and transducer.
