The gigabit networking architecture supports 10x faster peer-to-peer communication with compatible accessories, a critical advantage when operating multiple depth finders, cameras, and autopilot systems simultaneously. Garmin Navionics+™ and Vision+™ mapping layers provide daily chart updates with enhanced relief shading, meaning your electronic charts remain current with real-time waterway changes and hazard notifications.
Usage Instructions
Install the GPSMAP 9019 using the flexible mounting bracket system suited to your helm configuration. Connect compatible Garmin sonar modules and cameras directly via the network ports before powering on. Access the touchscreen interface to configure your primary dashboard, selecting which data fields appear during navigation—water temperature, depth, speed, and sonar imagery integrate into a single customizable workspace. Update the device software regularly through the ActiveCaptain® app to maintain access to the latest mapping corrections and feature enhancements. Calibrate the display brightness settings for your specific lighting conditions and navigation preferences.
