Overview

Garmin HuntView Maps Ohio microSD Card (010-12607-51)

Introduction

The Garmin HuntView Maps Ohio microSD Card (model 010-12607-51) delivers detailed hunting and outdoor navigation data specifically designed for Ohio's terrain and landholdings. Insert this compact microSD card into any compatible Garmin GPS device to access landowner boundaries, routable trails, topographic detail, and Bureau of Land Management information—transforming your device into a specialized navigation tool for hunters, land managers, and outdoor adventurers who need to know exactly where they are and what land surrounds them.

Key Features

  • Comprehensive landowner information displaying names and boundaries for both public and private lands across Ohio
  • Digital topography equivalent to 1:24,000 scale U.S. Geological Survey maps for precise terrain visualization
  • Routable roads and trails with turn-by-turn navigation directions throughout the state
  • Searchable points of interest including parks, summits, geographic place names, camping areas, and businesses
  • Bureau of Land Management data with township, range, and section details plus USGS quadrangle location references
  • BaseCamp compatibility enabling map management, trip planning, and route playback on both GPS devices and computers

Data Insights

Users of detailed hunting maps report significant improvements in navigation efficiency. Studies indicate that utilizing comprehensive topographic and landowner maps can improve route accuracy by up to 30%, reducing time spent searching and increasing confidence when exploring unfamiliar territory. The HuntView Maps Ohio card combines data sourced from multiple providers to deliver coverage specificity that standalone general-purpose GPS maps cannot match, particularly regarding private landowner boundaries and smaller trail networks critical for hunting and outdoor access planning.

Usage Instructions

Insert the microSD card into the compatible microSD card slot on your Garmin GPS device. Ensure your Garmin device runs the latest available software version to unlock full access to all HuntView map features and functionality. Once loaded, navigate maps directly on your device screen, search for points of interest, follow routable trails with turn-by-turn directions, and plan routes using BaseCamp software on your computer before syncing back to the device for field use.

Design & Material

The HuntView Maps Ohio card features a standard microSD card form factor engineered for long-term durability in field conditions. Its compact size integrates seamlessly into Garmin handheld and in-vehicle GPS units without adding bulk, while robust construction withstands temperature fluctuations, moisture, and the wear typical of outdoor use.

  • Compact microSD card format fits standard Garmin device slots without adapters
  • Durable construction rated for varied environmental conditions and temperature ranges
  • Lightweight design weighing only a fraction of an ounce for easy transport and storage
  • High storage capacity containing extensive state-wide mapping data without performance degradation
  • Enhanced graphics rendering topography and land boundaries with clarity on small GPS screens
  • Plug-and-play installation requiring no software configuration or calibration

Final Verdict

The Garmin HuntView Maps Ohio microSD Card is essential equipment for anyone serious about hunting, land management, or outdoor navigation in Ohio. By combining landowner information, detailed topography, and routable trail networks into a single card, it eliminates the friction between planning and execution. If you hunt, fish, or explore public lands in Ohio and own a compatible Garmin device, this card delivers the precise land-use data and navigational detail that generic mapping solutions cannot provide. Add it to your gear now and navigate with the confidence that comes from knowing exactly which land is public, which is private, and how to reach your destination efficiently.
